Acrobatch has a passion for sharing circus with others and we love bringing circus experiences to people that may not have access to circus opportunities, including regional and remote communities. As we both started our circus journeys at a regional community festival in Karridale, its important to us that others have opportunities to both learn and view quality circus regardless of location or other accessibility obstacles. Previously, Acrobatch has run numerous circus workshops, artist and trainer mentoring and other community engagement activities for local governments and community groups, as well as having completed multiple tours through the South West teaching and engaging with local communities there as part of the DLGSC’s Creative Communities initiative.
We are happy to run community workshops, Q&As, artist mentoring, train-the-trainer circus sessions or any other community engagement offerings that might be required – feel free to open up the discussion around what might be the most beneficial for your community – we love to chat and figure out where we can be most effective specific to your community’s needs.
Workshops
Ben, Simon and the team all have extensive teaching experience at numerous circus schools throughout Australia and Europe and we ensure that all trainers we work with are of an equal or higher calibre. Acrobatch offer a variety of circus workshops from community taster sessions for those who have never done circus all the way up to professional artist mentorship.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like more information about these services.
“Simon and his team were fantastic to work with. Acrobatch facilitated some great circus workshops for us at Imaginarium Festival which were well delivered, friendly and fun!” – Roger, City of Belmont
